Nate is building a reputation as a solid, swingin' timekeeper and is an adventurous and melodic soloist. He spent this last summer being mentored by the great Ben Wolfe at the Centrum Jazz Workshop and has dedicated himself to the old school, no amp, just moving air approach to bass playing.

  • Andrew Glynn
  • Andrew, like his brother bassist Michael Glynn, is a graduate of Clarence Acox's fine program at Garfield High School in Seattle, WA. He has worked as a saxophonist on both alto and tenor in various groups in the Seattle area including the Reuel Lubag Hardbop Quartet, the Glynn Brothers Quartet, the Emerald City Jazz Orchestra, and the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra to name but a few. An aggressive improviser, he demonstrates the great saxophone tradition with a wide range of influences from Prez to Coltrane, and from Coleman Hawkins to Sonny Rollins.
